SMEs can now run their businesses with added convenience through our US dollar Biashara Company Account. This current account opens with just USD100 and requires no operating balance.

It requires no interest bearing balance, has no interest rate or payment and comes without commission in lieu of exchange. Over-the-counter balance inquiry also comes free of charge.

We only charge USD2.50 for your identity card, and there’s also a USD2.50 monthly charge anytime your balance reads below USD50,000. There are no charges for over-the-counter withdrawals of up to USD10,000, and any amount above that will incur a charge of only USD10.00. When you decide to close your account we will charge you USD11.

• Provide your TIN cetificate, business license, MEMART, board resolution, certificate of incorporation and VAT certificate

• Present valid identification such as passport, national ID card (NIDA) or driving license for Tanzanian nationals, or residence permit and work permit for foreigners
• One recent passport-size photo
